The VPS105D is a battery-operated, omni-directional velocity air flow probe, designed with durability and ease of use in mind. The probe is encased in a spring steel cage that protects the bead head from damage without interfering with natural air flow.
The probe head connects to a hand-held digital display via a durable wire, offering clear and accurate readings. Its sleek, compact design includes a single, centrally located silver button with a red rim, making operation as simple as pressing once for immediate results.

Some methods for flow measurement can have two major drawbacks; the probe positioning can be prone to operator error, and probes can be easily damaged whilst being positioned. The VPS105D overcomes drawbacks experienced with other such devices and provides a more robust and accurate unit.
The probe cable connects seamlessly to the VFA450RH, which is then linked to the smoking machine for precise air flow measurement. The probe head can be easily inserted into the SM450 linear smoking machine through the Cambridge Filter Holder (CFH) at the designated port, allowing accurate air flow monitoring. For the Orbit20 rotary smoking machine, the probe head attaches via the support arm for smooth integration and effortless operation.
This versatile setup ensures reliable performance across different machine designs, making it an essential tool for precise measurements.
