Heated Tobacco Products (HTPs) are the next generation of nicotine delivery systems. These consist of a heating device (containing electronics and a battery) where a special tobacco stick is placed and heated up to 350°C using a battery-powered heating system to generate an aerosol that contains nicotine, flavors, and other chemicals.

Cerulean offer an extensive range of equipment for measuring and smoking heated tobacco products. These products range from physical testing, which uses sophisticated vision systems, automatic calibration weighing devices, and 20-channel smoking (linear and rotary) machines for chemical analysis.

Cerulean has an excellent track record in providing the tobacco industry with a broad range of linear and rotary smoking machines used for routine analytical smoking experiments. Moisture & Density Testing

We are proud to distribute moisture and density testing equipment from Tews. For nearly 50 years, Tews has developed high-performance systems and offered sophisticated and accurate testing equipment for measuring moisture in samples. From coffee to raw tobacco leaf, Tews have the scientific know-how to use microwave technology for fast and accurate measurements.

The range of moisture and density measurement equipment can measure tobacco leaf and finished products, including cigarettes, filters, and cigars. Other measurement capabilities are for capsule integrity and positioning.

Using microwave resonance technology, the products can be measured quickly and accurately with no preparation or damage to the product.
