The brand new Cerulean FPS120s tube packing machine is designed for hygienic packing from makers producing at speeds of up to 120 tubes per minute.

The FPS120s is simple and robustly constructed, incorporating the latest control and display technology. The user-friendly colour touch screen enables the user to control set-up, any packing options, and store all settings in a library for quick change-over and later use. Changing tube or carton size typically takes less than 15 minutes allowing the FPS120s to meet the flexible requirements of a modern tube-making facility.

FPS-300s

Servo motor-driven, compact, automatic tube tray handling machine, designed to pack up to 300 tubes per minute. With enhanced features, the all-new software and control system gives the user total control via onboard diagnostics and a built-in VPN connection.

The FPS-300s complies with the latest SYSTEMA safety standards, and through software-controlled safety circuits, is able to work in more complex production lines where start-up needs to be safe, and in synchronisation with the rest of the production line. Furthermore, the new control system has extra capacity to control other modules from its HMI, making the system future-proof.

TIC Range

TIC range

A range of infeed systems designed to facilitate the handover of tubes from the host tube-making machine or printer, into the Cerulean FPS Packing System. These devices are designed to be simple and reliable in order to ensure low maintenance and cost of ownership as well as ease of operation.

TIC-432 Inclined Accumulation Roller Conveyor
Specifically designed to suit the Saesa 3000 Tube Maker from Aisa, but can be used for other applications where the tube handover point from the host is low to the ground. NB: The angle of inclination of any roller conveyor has to be kept below 5 degrees in order to prevent tubes from rolling back down the slope of the conveyor.

TIC-6 Series Accumulating Roller Conveyor
Allowing tube accumulation in its simplest form, the 6 series has adjustable height and angle to match the host output to the infeed of the FPS Packer. Available in lengths from 1m to 3m long.

TIC-7 Series Bucket Conveyor
For use where the height difference between host and packer will not allow the use of a roller conveyor, and for situations where the direction of travel of the tubes is going opposite to that of the roller conveyor. TIC-7 series conveyors are available in both shaft drive (where a suitable take-off dive is available from the host), and servo-drive versions.

Tube Leak Tester Cell

Tube Leak Tester Cell

Designed to integrate directly to the outfeed of most common tube making machines, the PCE Leak Tester will 100% check every tube. The standard model is capable of detecting from 0.3mm holes and up to 300 tubes/minute.

Individual failed tube reject with confirmation is included as standard along with statistic logging of all tests for extra surety. Tracking of failed % rate along with sequential failure alarms will alert the operator of tube making issues without running off 1000’s of tubes undetected.

Tube Tray Lift & Rotate Cell

Used in conjunction with a Cerulean FPS-300s tube packer, the Tray Lift and Rotate cell takes formed trays and places them onto the tray infeed conveyor for filling with tubes.

Removing the need for an operator to place pre-erected trays onto the tray in-feed conveyor, the Tray Lift and Rotate cell will take a pre-formed tray, typically from the automated tray erector and rotate to the correct orientation for placement onto the tray in-feed conveyor.

Tube Box Palletiser Cell

Tube Box Palletiser Cell

The Box Palletiser is fed tubed-filled trays with lid using the built-in conveyor system. The tray is then moved from the conveyor and placed onto a pallet. The trays are placed into an effective pattern on the pallet using a pre-set format depending on tray and pallet size.

The trays are supported from underneath and clamped to secure the tray during movement. An optional print and apply label applicator device can be used within this cell.

Tube Tray & Lid Fomer Robot Cell

The robotic tray and lid former unit utilises an automated system that takes the tray and lid blanks and moves them to a forming tool where the trays are then passed via a conveyor system for use.

The lids are then passed out of the former where it is then stored for collection by the robot to place onto the tube-filled, inspected trays. The former has hot-melt gluing system that utilises automat-ic tank loader of pellets for controlled application to the tray and lid for strength and integrity.

Tube Vision & Dust Sheet Application Cell

Tube Vision & Dust Sheet Application Cell

Trays filled with tubes are fed into the vision inspection cell via a supplied conveyor system where it is held in place whilst the Cognex vision system which carries out a number of checks on each tube.

The tray is then either rejected if any criteria are not met or passed through to the dust sheet application area where PE sheet is applied to protect the tubes from any contamination entering the inspected tubes.

The dust sheet covered trays is then moved from the cell via a supplied conveyor system for lid-application.
