Complex multi-segment products and filters with capsules have been difficult to measure until now. Using a sophisticated X-ray system, the Quantum Neo can see inside these items, allowing accurate and fast measurement of segment dimensions, capsule integrity, and positioning.

Integrating the X-ray shelf (designated “Q” by Cerulean) into the Quantum Neo test station provides a powerful analytical tool when coupled with more conventional measurements such as PDV, size, or weight measurements, with the added benefit of leveraging other Quantum Neo capabilities such as auto-sampling from the mass flow or from a GD combiner for the ultimate in QA measurements.

The SM450 NGP is a manually operated 20-port linear smoking machine that is specifically designed for Heated Tobacco Products. This machine complies with ISO 3308 and is capable of smoking ISO, FTC, Canadian, and Massachusetts methods without a reduction in smoking throughput or efficiency.
