Cerulean is pleased to launch a new Continuous Aerosol Generator, the Aura.

The Aura is a 5-channel continuous aerosol generator, designed with inhalation toxicology testing in mind.

With Aura, you can seamlessly program puffing regimes for e-vapour, cannabis products, and heated tobacco products (both electrically- and aerosol-heated). Designed with flexibility and precision, Aura allows variable-angled vaping to closely replicate human use, offering unparalleled accuracy in research environments.

Key features include customisable puff volumes (35 or 55 mL), durations (2 or 3 seconds), intervals (30 or 60 seconds), and full control over the total number of puffs per device. This 5-channel continuous aerosol generator uses synchronised precision puff engines to create a consistent aerosol flow—ideal for exposure studies, particularly with air-liquid interface chambers.

Need even more flexibility? Aura offers Hoffmann mouthpieces instead of the more common Cambridge filter holders, providing a direct aerosol delivery option for experiments that don’t require filter pads, ensuring aerosol integrity for diluter systems or exposure chambers.
